Memoirs of a different girlfriend
August 15th 2008 01:29
I've just taken over this blog, so all posts prior to this date are obviously someone else's memoirs.
I have always been fascinated with how humans relate to one another, and in adult life I think a large part of that relationship is in a romantic context. I know couples who make me go "aaahhhh... if only" when I see how their decades of relationship have matured and increased in value. And then there are those who make me go "AAAAAAHHHHH" in an entirely different way (the head-for-the-hills-the-dam's- broke way) when I see them rehashing the same argument, the same core issue, that has been keeping them company from the start. And in this present single state, I am trying to understand how I can get the first type of "aaahhhh" into that one lifelong relationship.
